Apparently I am not the only one to have wondered if the above video is somehow possible. Found on stubman.com this infographic finally answers my qestion of how the Mega shark plane attack in 2009′s Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus would go down. Via my older brother.

I discovered ‘Architecture in Helsinki’ while working as a college radio DJ. I keep finding myself going to youtube to watch this video, I am not sure exactly how to describe it but I never realized exactly how random it was until today. Enjoy.

So I don’t typically find all that much on TV that is worth posting, or worth watching, but this is definitely the exception. I was watching Tosh.0 for little to no reason when this video came up and I had a sever LOL moment. Hopefully you will enjoy the subtly and humor here as much as I did.

Can’t exactly say what made me look up this vid … perhaps my brother. Anyway, I used to listen to the Avalanches back in the day when my friend picked up the album in like middle school (what can I say I was ahead of my time). Apparently cited as a inspiration for Girl Talk, the Avalanches have a new album coming out in 2010. Either way the music along with video are nothing more than epic in their randomness, enjoy.

coke_blak I can’t even start to explain how big of a junkie I once was for Coke Blak during it’s brief run 2006-2007. Although this beverage has long been retired Coke Blak’s distinctive mix of burnt coffee and Coca-Cola lingers on. I am now left with the task of mixing Coca-Cola with coffee all by myself ….  with mixed results.

I had this video recommended to me a little while back and after I finally found the time to check it out the effort proved to be well worth it. Apparently back in the mid 90′s Universal Studios was bought out by Segrams, exporter of such fine beverages as Segram wine coolers. With the acquisition of the universal studio the Segrams execs wanted to create a informational video for their new employees, they just didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Enter Matt and Trey Parker the (soon to be) creators of Southpark. Long before their days of animation the two volunteered to create this gem for free and the result is pure random hilarity. Look for celebrity cameos from Stallone to Spielburg, and plenty more celebrities who would later be ripped apart on South Park.

This is officially my favorite Christmas song of all time. Guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit Jonathan Coulton’sChiron Beta Prime” and is 100% randomness. I was introduced the tune by a co-worker and strongly recommend checking out anything else by this musician. Enjoy the video and happy holidays from the random distraction.

I am still impressed by this excellently excecuted Multimedia instilation by artists Bruno Levy and Blake Shaw as it continues to play in my web broser. Basically this is a combination of a well placed projector and motion censor, a camera next to the projector tracks the position of the paint roller, unmasking the video projection in real time, as the artists draws on the wall. I have seen similar types of instilations with similar graphiti style appeal before but none nearly as executed as this one. I will admit the video used for the projector is pretty random but still the principle idea behind this is impressive to say the least. Found via Gizmodo.

All I gotta say is props for trying to be creative but at some point you just need to invest in a new TV. Random image comes via GizModo.

I was making my internet rounds this morning and wound up on the Chicago Tribune website in the “Mugs In the News” section. This single image proved to be just the random image I needed to get me through a cold snow day in Chicago. Best of all the story that goes along with this offenders trial can be found on the following link and believe me as the name implies it is pretty random.
